Suzannah Jording

Suzannah Jording joined OMS International in 2006. She works with the Communications Department as well as the Children’s Mission Resources team. She hopes to serve God by taking the good news of what He is doing overseas to those who partner with and pray for the ministries of OMS.

Suzannah is the daughter of missionaries John-Mark and Susan Brabon. She grew up on the OMS fields of Ecuador and Mexico. Suzannah received her call to missions during the summer of 2001. She graduated from Asbury College with a degree in English literature and minors in Spanish and theatre arts. She hopes to one day use drama in the church to reach those who do not know Jesus Christ.

Suzannah is married to Johnathan Jording. Johnathan is studying for his master of divinity degree at Asbury Theological Seminary and hopes to train pastors and church leaders overseas.

Tabitha Spacht

Webmaster/writer

       Tabitha Spacht began her work as the webmaster for OMS International on May 19th, 2008 in Greenwood, Indiana. As the webmaster, she helps maintain the OMS websites by making sure content on the site passes security guidelines, editing web content and making sure everything is in order. Tabitha is the administrater of both of OMS’ social networking pages on Facebook and Myspace. In addition to her work on the website, she also writes and edits various pieces needed by the department and OMS. 
       After being unsatisfied with two colleges, Tabitha took some time off to decide what she wanted and to pay back student loans. She eventually discovered Taylor University Fort Wayne (TUFW), where she thrived. Tabitha graduated with a professional writing degree from TUFW in May 2008. 
       At OMS, she serves in a position that enables her to assist missionaries every day. Despite being an MK (missionary kid),Tabitha never intended to be a missionary herself. Yet, the circumstances quickly fell into place shortly after her graduation, and today, Tabitha is blessed because she gets to do what she loves, while working with fantastic people.

Pat Winfrey

Pat WinfreyCommunications Department

Joining the homeland staff of OMS International in 1964, Pat Winfrey works at the world headquarters located in Greenwood, Indiana. As part of the Communications Department Pat serves as editorial technician. She is involved in preparing missionary prayer letters for mailing and works on special field and department mailings. In addition, Pat manages the OMS Book Room.

Pat, a native of the Northwest, graduated from Merritt Davis School of Business in Salem, Oregon, in 1963. She then worked one year for the Oregon State Credit Bureau.

Roger and Mary Lou Skinner

Roger and Mary Lou SkinnerUSA Executive Director/Communications

Roger and Mary Lou Skinner have been involved in ministry for over 35 years with OMS International, first serving as field missionaries for more than two decades in Ecuador, South America, and currently as part of the leadership team at the OMS International World Headquarters.

Roger and Mary Lou lived in Ecuador from 1973 to 1995. First assigned to evangelism and church planting, the Skinners were involved in many aspects of the OMS work in Ecuador. During their 22 years in Guayaquil, Roger directed and taught at the Evangelical Bible Seminary and served as pastor of the Christian Bible Church (OMS Encounter with God). Mary Lou directed and taught in the OMS grade school, helped in church ministries and taught English classes.

Roger and Mary Lou returned to the States in 1995 and began work at the OMS International World Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. Roger served as the director of recruitment for four years. On September 1, 1999, he accepted the assignment of USA Executive Director. Mary Lou works in the Communications Department.

Foster Pilcher

Graphic Artist

W. Foster Pilcher serves OMS International as the resident graphic artist. He designs OMS’ award winning, quarterly magazine, Outreach, as well as oversees the design of all OMS field brochures, logos, prayer tracts and even some book covers. Foster also has had his hand in coordinating the production of OMS videos.

Foster has had the opportunity to travel to Haiti, the Philippines and Russia to capture the ministries of OMS missionaries through photography. Most recently, he led a short-term team to Ecuador to assist in Vacation Bible School (VBS) ministries in poor neighborhoods and in several schools.

After graduating from Vigo South High School in Terre Haute, Indiana, Foster attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He graduated in 2001 with a double major in graphic design and photography. While at BSU, he was an active member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF), a worldwide campus ministry. He served as a small group Bible study leader and as president of this student-led group for two years.

Lon Osborn

 

Lon OsbornAudio/Visual Manager

OMS International accepted Lon Osborn as a missionary in 2005 to serve on the Every Community for Christ (ECC) International team. Over the course of three years of serving with ECC, Lon traveled to more than 15 countries, visiting churches, ECC church planting teams and several OMS missionaries. 

In June 2008, Lon joined the Communications Department of OMS to lend assistance in video production, graphic design and photography. Lon hopes to use his knowledge of OMS fields around the world to help share the vision of what God is doing with churches and individuals throughout the United States.

Amy Nelson

Children's Mission Resource

Amy (McDowell) Nelson has been with OMS International since 2006. She first joined OMS as a summer intern and now works full-time at OMS International’s World Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. She works in the Communications Department, where her tasks include graphic design, photography and illustration. She is also part of the Children’s Mission Resources team. Amy loves using her artistic abilities to visually communicate OMS International’s global outreach and is excited to see how God will continue to use her in missions.

Amy is originally from the Detroit-Metro area. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) in 2006 where she studied photography, illustration and graphic design. Amy has always loved art and during college, felt God calling her to use her gifts for Him in ministry. Amy met her future husband Jared while studying at IWU. They married in 2008. Jared is working toward his Master’s degree in biblical counseling from the Master’s College.

Lori McFall

 

Lori McFallCommunications Department

Lori has been with OMS since 1999. After serving with her family in the Philippines for nine months and in the Republic of Ireland for two years, she is now working at OMS World Headquarters. She spent 3½ years working in Children’s Ministry, editing and producing Missions to the MAX!, a quarterly children’s newsletter. She now serves in the Communications Department as editor. Lori is responsible for editing all print communications such as prayer tools, development materials, letters from the president, missionary prayer letters, brochures and other promotional materials. She is also the administrative editor for OMS Outreach magazine.

The Lord sent Lori and her husband Cris to OMS after Cris’ first mission trip to Russia in 1996. Cris served with OMS for seven years.

Lori attended Indiana State University where she earned a bachelor of science degree and a master’s degree in elementary education. The McFalls have two children: Andrea, who attends Indiana Wesleyan University, and Ben, a high school sophomore.

Sarah Leckie

Sarah LeckieMedia Specialist/Recruiter

Sarah Leckie joined OMS in 2004. She currently works in the Communication Department, helping OMS document the Lord’s work around the world and communicate it to churches and individuals in OMS’ sending countries. She also travels to various colleges, helping to motivate young men and woman to serve the Lord overseas.

Sarah was raised in the foothills of eastern Kentucky, the daughter of a coal miner and schoolteacher. Having grown up in a non-Christian family, she met the Lord at the age of 14 in a Christian summer camp, where she knew the Lord wanted to use her for His purposes. Leaving the mission field of the Appalachian Mountains, she spent four years at Asbury College where she was introduced to OMS through Stanley Tam’s grandson. She joined the Asbury campus OMS cabinet at the OMS house and was mentored by Mama Lucy and Papa Chuck Long as they prayed together every week for three years.

Mark and Michelle Dinnage

Mark and Michelle (Byrd) Dinnage met while both working at OMS International World Headquarters and were married on July 23, 2005.

Mark started his missionary career serving with OMS International in Russia under the CoMission in 1995. Then for three years (June 1997-May 2000), Mark assisted Dave Graffenberger in supervising the Every Community for Christ (ECC) teams worldwide. The ECC ministry is the major evangelism and church-planting arm of OMS International. Mark went on to restart the youth ministry helping youth get more involved in missions through short-term missions opportunities, and now he is the video editor for the mission. Mark creates, edits, and produces most of OMS International’s AV media offerings. He finds joy in using the latest technology to tell the world what God is doing through the ministries of OMS International.
