History of OMS in Spain

In 1972, OMS opened work in Spain, and the first pioneer missionary team arrived in 1973. Active participation in the first Iberian Congress on Evangelization in 1974 allowed the new missionary team to meet many national leaders. OMS purchased the Rock of Horeb Camp in 1974 and the Madrid Evangelical Tabernacle property in 1975, which became the first OMS church in Spain. In the early days of the work, Bible correspondence courses, a radio ministry and a telephone ministry were important means of outreach.
