TAIWAN—Thank you for praying for the Franklin Graham Festival that took place in Taipei from October 30-November 2. It was preceded by a children’s service the previous Sunday. Praise the Lord for the 183,302 people who attended the services and for the 9,673 people who made decisions to follow Christ. Pray that the churches will adequately follow up with those who made decisions and that each one will be properly discipled. To God be the glory!

Pray that they will be encouraged as they implement the training they received. Praise the Lord for the concern and prayer burden the church leadership share for these smaller churches.

Pray for faculty and counselors’ sensitivity in follow-up for the students who have received Christ for the first time or made deeper commitment to Christ. Many of these are Chinese who come from non-Christian homes.

TAIWAN—The Central Taiwan Theological Seminary sold their old campus property more than a year ago and has moved into temporary facilities. A few months ago, the seminary purchased 15 acres of farm land on the outskirts of Taichung. It will take two years to rezone the land to educational and then another year to construct the buildings. Pray for the board and administration, making decisions about the new campus. Pray that the land will be rezoned.
Pray for Rod and Beth Williamson, teaching a 17-week parenting course in local churches. There has been very positive response toward the Biblical principles for raising children. Pray that Rod and Beth will have wisdom to help the parents know how to apply these principles to their marriage, family and children.
