SOUTH PACIFIC—The women of the Malang English fellowship are having a ladies’ retreat on October 31 and November 1. Pray that the Lord will meet the spiritual and personal needs of the women.
Oct. 8-14th, 2008
SOUTH PACIFIC—Pray for our area of the world during a special holiday―that opportunities would open for our seminary students, church leaders and church members to share with friends and relatives.
Pray for Bob and Norma Jean Erny, ministering to us from October 4-22. Bob will be the mission speaker for the Nusantara Bible Seminary students, will teach a class to the graduates and will minister to the Nusantara Evangelical Church.
Continue to pray for the Noble family. Paul teaches at Mountain View, and they serve as dorm parents. Ask for God’s touch upon their son Luke and for divine wisdom to parent two young boys while parenting dorm girls.
Sept 24-30, 2008
SOUTH PACIFIC—Praise the Lord those who have decided to go into full-time ministry on this field. Pray for the remaining decisions regarding support raising and other issues.
Continue to pray as they go into the third week of the Ramadan fasting month. Pray that they all may be open to unexpected opportunities to share during this time.
Pray for the one who is working with others to put the finishing touches on a new brochure for Wesley International School.
Sept 17th-23, 2008
SOUTH PACIFIC—A missionary is speaking on “Conflict Resolution” when he attends the next Overseas Council meetings from October 6 to 10. Pray for his preparations, presentation and renewed relationships with the seminary and this organization.
Praise the Lord for unity and harmony among the missionaries as they planned their strategies for the next few years in their field council meetings. A highlight was when they reviewed all the amazing ways God has answered prayers throughout this past year.
Pray for the field throughout this month of Ramadan fasting and prayer. Ask God’s provision for the seminary students who will minister during the weekend, for contacts and for ministry opportunities.
September 24 is the set date for “Pasar Murah,” when the international school will be providing decreased costs to build stronger relationships with their community and neighbors. Pray that God might provide opportunities to be Christ to their neighbors.

SOUTH PACIFIC—Pray for anointing, wisdom, joy and peace for our field leader as he leads and ministers to the field.
One of the city churches has once again faced threat and persecution. Pray for peace in the midst of conflict and courage to continue to walk with the Lord.
August 20th-26th, 2008
SOUTH PACIFIC—The student leaders of our International School are planning a retreat that will take place from August 22 to 24. Pray that they will feel God’s presence and receive what He has in store for them as they pray and plan for the new year.
Praise the Lord for a much better atmosphere at our Bible Seminary. August 25 is a faculty day of planning goals for the next 5 to 10 years. Ask for God’s direction and leadership in these plans. Pray for the adjustment of the 18 new students as well.
Pray for the new leadership team that has started at our Theological College. The one who will need God’s continued anointing as he directs the school for the next four years.
Praise God that our missionaries have arrived back safely. Pray for those beginning to teach immediately without preparation time and that she will again find her role working with the women of the church.
July 30- Aug 6
SOUTH PACIFIC—Pray for those visiting friends and supporters and preparing for their return to the South Pacific. An missionary is visiting family and friends before her return from England and Ireland. Our another married couple have arrived in England. Ask for God’s direction to plan their speaking, a part-time job for the wife to upgrade her experience in physiotherapy and for the husband who is planning to get his master’s degree this year.
Pray for the pastor’s wives as they each juggle their schedules with the needs of the church and home. Ask for God’s anointing as they serve, sometimes in an area where their children are harassed as they attend school or their church is stoned. Pray for God’s protection and strength in their duties.
