South Korea Prayer Requests
Nov. 19-25, 2008
SOUTH KOREA—The Korea Evangelical Holiness Church (KEHC) will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its overseas missions committee on December 7. Pray for God to be glorified in the celebration and for the mission work of the KEHC to continue to grow and become more effective in spreading God’s kingdom around the world.
Nov. 12-18th, 2008
SOUTH KOREA—Pray for Susan Truitt who left Korea on November 11 for two months of homeland ministry assignment in the United States. She will be at OMS headquarters in Greenwood from November 13-18 for partnership meetings between OMS and the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church (KEHC), as well as a debriefing time. Pray for God’s guidance in these meetings, so that OMS and the KEHC can partner together more effectively for God’s Kingdom.
Pray for God to be glorified as the Seoul Theological University combined choirs present their annual concert on November 15 at a large church.

SOUTH KOREA—Pray that God will be honored as the mission English students lead the chapel at Seoul Theological University on October 31. Pray for Stephen Mairs, preaching in English.

SOUTH KOREA—Pray for the Korean missionary candidates who were commissioned on October 7 as they raise their support and prepare to leave for the mission fields of Taiwan, the Philippines, Cambodia, Egypt, Thailand, Japan, Kenya and Mexico. Uplift the domestic missionaries, ministering to foreign workers and students in Korea.

SOUTH KOREA—Pray for the World Missions Conference of the World Federation of Holiness Churches in Korea from October 14-16. Pray that those who attend will be challenged as they share information about missions.
Pray for Seoul Theological University students, taking their midterm exams from October 13-17

SOUTH KOREA—Pray for Professor Ken Collins from Asbury Theological Seminary, giving several lectures at Seoul Theological University and other places during the Cowman lecture series through October 10. Pray for God to speak to students and faculty members through his messages on “a theology of holy love,” “real Christianity” and other topics.
The World Federation of Holiness Churches will hold a World Missions Conference in Korea from October 14-16. Pray that those who attend will be challenged as they share information about missions.
Pray for Seoul Theological University students taking their mid-term exams from October 13-17.
