ESTONIA—Praise God for 15 new students who have started their theological studies this fall. The seminary now has 131 students. Pray for all students and teachers who need strength and wisdom to cope with all challenges during the next academic year. Ask God to provide new sponsors and encourage the old ones to help to build up the Kingdom of God in Estonia.
We give thanks for the successful mission among Siberian nations this summer. Our current and former students participated in four teams that visited the Komi, Udmurt and Khanty people. From October 16-21, the leaders of Finno-Ugric nations will gather in Tallinn for the school of evangelism and strategic planning. Pray for safe travel and fruitful meetings of these Christian leaders.
July 2-8
ESTONIA—Mark and Kai Nelson ask for your prayers for a man from a Christian family who has turned his back on God and is living a life of drugs and sexual promiscuity. Not only is he destroying his life, but he is causing great damage to the Christian woman he was engaged to. Pray that God will bring healing to both of these people.
May 7-13, 2008
Continue to pray for God to provide for the seminary’s financial situation and for American economic worries and the dropping U.S. dollar value to be offset by the generosity of God’s people.
Mark Nelson is in central Russia among the Finno-Ugric people groups. Pray as he travels long distances alone by train; pray also that his time with the contacts will be effective in helping the seminary’s joint missions projects to develop.
