Nov. 19-25, 2008
ECUADOR—There is a need for Men for Missions work teams to go Cuenca in 2009 to help build a new seminary building.
Continue to pray for Kathy Coon, who is on home assignment through January in Michigan. Kathy has had a double mastectomy to remove a large amount of cancerous tissue. The cancer is very advanced. Pray for Kathy and for her family, coming to terms with this.
The Johannes family is finishing their time in Cuenca in language study, and they are preparing to move to Pallatanga. Remember them in your prayers as they need to pack everything, including windows for their house in Pallatanga. Pray for the kids whom the Johanneses have been evangelizing. The Johanneses are looking for somebody to continue that work.
Give thanks for the successful medical team at work in Bucay until November 9. Remember the team heading to Pallatanga to work from November13-29.
Give thanks for the students at SEMBEC, both in Cuenca and the extension in Azogues. Most of the students that started this are finishing it. Pray that they will be able to continue next term and encourage others to start studies.
