Current Ministries in Mozambique

  • The national church is currently in the beginning stages of developing the national church doctrine. The church leaders meet weekly for prayer and discipleship as well as monthly with the OMS field leadership team to strategize and help encourage the church. Both the T3 and Khongolote churches operate preschools, each with about 100-150 students in attendance and women’s ministries are also meeting at both chuches.
  • Maputo Bible Seminary - After years of planning and fund raising, construction began in January 2005 on the new seminary building for the Maputo Bible Seminary. The building isn’t quite finished, but it is moving along toward completion. This new facility will be much more than a seminary building. It will be a multi-purpose ministry center.
  • English as a second language - The church is currently involved in teaching ESL (English as a second language). English is being taught at four different levels. This is a great outreach ministry to the Maputo community and will not only provide opportunities to share the Gospel, but will encourage people to come to the church and to enroll in the seminary.
  • Christian Academy in Mozambique (CAM) is a multi-cultural and multi-national Christian American school that is preparing graduates for continued studies at universities in the USA. The academy provides elementary and secondary education for the missionary and expatriate community. Currently CAM has 53 students from all over the world.
