Will and Diane Dickerson
Teaching/Evangelism
Will and Diane Dickerson began their missionary service with OMS International in Hungary in 1993. Their main thrust of evangelism has been through teaching English in the schools and at summer camps.
Will has taught English at Szent László Gimnázium in Budapest for the last thirteen years. He also teaches church history at a fledgling seminary that OMS has helped start in Budapest. Diane teaches English to members of the local Large Family Association and tutors several individuals. She also heads up the Sunday School program at our church-plant congregation in Budapest. Both Will and Diane are active members in that church-plant congregation, and they are involved in the summer English camp ministry.
In 1992, Will received a Ph.D. in Medieval History from Cornell University, where he had earlier earned B.A. and M.A. degrees. He also pastored two mission congregations after receiving his M.Div. degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1983.
Diane studied biology and journalism at Douglas College (part of Rutgers University). She has worked as a respiratory therapist, certified cardiopulmonary technologist, an executive secretary for the Gallup Organization, and office manager for a software company. She also has experience as a trainer for Evangelism Explosion and teacher of numerous Sunday school classes and junior church.
The Dickersons have two children, Abby and Will.
