Ted and Angela ChandlerEvangelism

Ted and Angela Chandler were appointed as missionaries with OMS International to Haiti in 2003. They spent four years ministering mainly with Radio 4VEH, Emmaus Biblical Seminary and Cowman International School.

Now the Chandlers have been reassigned to Ecuador. This field has needs for local church outreach, maintenance, seminary involvement and film ministry. As a couple, Ted and Angela hope to serve the church through marriage enrichment seminars.

Although Ted’s parents were missionaries to Haiti while he was a toddler, Ted spent most of his youth in Taiwan where they served for 19 years. Ted’s grandparents were also missionaries with OMS International. Ted and Angela were both missionaries in Taiwan with Overseas Radio and TV (ORTV).

Ted spent three semesters at Asbury College, then transferred to Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts and received a specialized associate’s degree in recording engineering. Ted has since worked in a variety of positions, including recording engineer, live sound technician and audiovisual installation and engineering.

Angela earned a B.A. in communications with an emphasis in writing from Moody Bible Institute in 1993. After graduation, she spent one year in Hong Kong. She then was an editorial assistant at ORTV in Taiwan. Angela also worked in the office of International Child Care Ministries – the sponsorship program run by the Free Methodist Church of North America.

Ted and Angela have three girls: Lydia, born December 23, 1999; Trisha, born January 9; 2001; and Kylie born January 3, 2003.
