Dr. Karl and Peggy Luff

 

Teachers

Karl and Peggy Luff  began their service with OMS International in 1997 when they joined the faculty at the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church/OMS Missionary Training Center and Seoul Theological University in South Korea.

After spending two and a half years in South Korea, the Luffs were transferred to work in the Philippines. Karl currently serves as the president of Faith Bible College and teaches theological classes. Peggy works in administration at the college and teaches various subjects. Karl and Peggy also serve as shepherds for church planting teams in the Philippines.

Peggy holds a bachelor of arts degree in Bible and theology and Christian education from John Wesley College. She has been involved in youth evangelism, Sunday school teaching, and children’s church.

Karl earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in pastoral ministries from John Wesley College, a master of divinity and master of theology degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a doctor of missiology degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He served as a pastor with the North Carolina Friends for 15 years and the Evangelical Friends for 8 years. From 1985- 1997, he was an associate professor of Bible, theology, and missions at John Wesley College. He also taught courses in occultism and world religions.

The Luffs spent two brief periods in India (1989 and 1991), teaching at South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies and at the OMS-related Allahabad Bible Seminary.
