California Region Representatives

James and Nell Oldham have been missionaries with OMS International since 1979, serving at the international headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana, and in Hong Kong, South Korea, the northwest region and in the southwest region. During their ministry at the OMS headquarters, James was chief accountant and Nell worked as a receptionist, part time in the accounting department and as director of English ministries in the Greenwood area.

After becoming certified to teach English as a second language, the Oldhams went to Hong Kong in 1986, James as field accountant and Nell to teach English and to do discipleship in the OMS churches. They then went to South Korea in 1989 where James served as field accountant/treasurer and Nell taught English Bible studies and trained Koreans who were preparing for missionary service. The Oldhams returned to Greenwood in 1990 with James in accounting and Nell working part time on the switchboard and as director of English ministries. The Oldham’s next assignment was in the northwest region as regional directors. Currently, they are serving in California as regional directors with responsibilities of missionary scheduling, church relations, funding and recruitment.

The Oldhams have four grown children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
