Jason CampbellCreative Production

Haiti has always been a part of Jason’s life. As the son of Larry and Sarah Campbell, Jason grew up under the ministry of Missionary Flights International— a technical support mission serving missionary groups in Haiti and the Caribbean, including OMS, for over 40 years.

In Haiti, Jason utilized his creativity using the English language as a powerful evangelism tool. For example, Jason created Whatchamacalit, a family-friendly radio drama geared for children that features his imagination and various vocal talents. Also, during the Operation Saturation radio campaign, Jason also developed an evangelistic English curriculum called Word Quest, which allowed Haitians to get a foundation of basic grammar and vocabulary. In addition, he used his talent to design various web pages and multimedia presentations.

Jason now brings his field experience and creative talents to OMS International’s world headquarters. As the children’s ministry creative producer, Jason creates original music, sketchisodes (drama) and audio/visual presentations to get kids excited about loving and serving God as they develop a heart for missions. Jason also uses his communication skills and experience to help produce radio and video presentations for OMS International worldwide.

He not only brings his creative skills to OMS but also evangelism training learned while working for many summers as a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship.

Holding a B.S. degree in Broadcast Communications, Jason graduated cum laude from Pensacola Christian College. He was also awarded the college’s first broadcasting scholarship.

Jason has been connected with OMS as a volunteer, short term, and career missionary since 1993. He is currently pursuing the syndication of Whatchamacalit and the publication of Word Quest.
