Payroll/Recruitment

Carl and Heidi Walton began their missionary career with OMS International in 1994. They served in Haiti from January 1995 to June 1998. Carl was the field treasurer. Heidi worked in the OMS clinic as the assistant director and a nurse and then as director.

The Waltons worked in the OMS United Kingdom office, located in Manchester, England, from January 1999 to October 2004. Carl served as the treasurer, as well as taking several trips to India to assist the Evangelical Church of India in their financial needs. Heidi was the personnel officer for OMS in the United Kingdom.

In July 2005, Carl and Heidi moved to the Philippines where they worked closely with Every Community for Christ evangelism and church planting teams and with OMS church pastors. They served there until September 2006 when they returned to the U.S. to serve at the OMS world headquarters. Currently, Carl is responsible for payroll, and Heidi is working in recruitment.

Carl was born and raised in England where he received his banking diploma. He began working in international banking in 1978 with a British bank in England and later worked at a Japanese bank in both England and the United States.

Heidi attended Goshen College in Indiana and Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Heidi and Carl met while she was working in Switzerland in a Christian retreat center. She was a homemaker before joining OMS.

The Waltons have four adult children. Andrew is currently a flight instructor at Liberty University, also studying for his Masters; Elida is studying Nursing at Pensacola Christian College; Tiffany is employed locally and Nathanael is also at Liberty University studying Communications.
