Mailroom/Administrative Services

Since 1968 Barbara Kilmer has been a missionary with OMS International, working at the international headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. She has worked in a variety of departments including World Intercessors, Central Supply, Photocopy, and Administrative Services.

She currently serves as the Mailroom Coordinator – sorting incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail and packages. In Administrative Services she does a variety of work at the computer, including check requests, processing payment for the utilities for the campus in Greenwood, and handling rent payments.

Barbara finds satisfaction in knowing her work advances the cause of missions. “I have learned that God has given me the spiritual gift of helps, and in this office there are numerous ways in which I can use that gift to assist missionaries here at headquarters and around the world.”

The godly heritage her parents provided, the steady stream of missionaries in their home, and the influence of a church with a strong missions program all contributed to Barbara’s commitment to missions.
