Dee is a grade 3 school teacher. We have two children, Brandon (29) and Taryn (27) both still single. Brandon works for Reuters in London, and Taryn is an actress who free-lances in South Africa.

Work History:
Bruce worked in the corporate world up until 1997. He has held the positions of vice president in distribution and logistics with both the Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola bottlers in South Africa.

Christian Testimony:
Bruce came to know the Lord in 1984 while reading a Bible in order to prepare a eulogy for a deceased colleague. He then enrolled as an extension student with the Baptist College of South Africa and studied for six years in gaining his theological qualification.

Christian Experience:

  1. Bruce ran an inner healing ministry from 1993 to 1998, initially on a part-time basis 1993-1996, and full-time from 1997-1998. He has developed a healing ministry manual entitled: Mending Broken Lives. To date, hundreds of Africans have been trained in this healing ministry.
  2. In 1999, Bruce was appointed as executive director of OMS International, South Africa, and was responsible for inaugurating the Into Africa program, which to date has seen the development of OMS ministries in 14 African nations.
  3. In 2005, Bruce was appointed as the international regional director for Africa of OMS International, and currently gives oversight to OMS ministries in 17 African countries.
  4. Bruce and the OMS Africa team were responsible for devising the Village Church Planting (VCP) program that has seen the initiation of more than 2,000 churches in Africa since January 2003. The program is an in-service training project that prepares church planter pastors who are theologically equipped while planting churches in the unreached villages of Africa.
  5. Bruce also serves with African Operation, a leadership ministry that intentionally reaches out to African secular leaders with the Gospel. This ministry is currently operating in four African nations.
  6. Bruce serves in his local church as an elder, where he is ordained and commissioned as a missionary with OMS International.
  7. Bruce’s spiritual gifts include: teaching, faith, leadership and healing.
  8. His spiritual director is Gavin Skla-Chik.
  9. Bruce travels extensively in Africa, and since he is an avid reader, he uses his flying time to read.
  10. When not traveling in Africa, Bruce loves walking Shadow, his Rhodesian Ridge Back.
