Ireland

In 1995, a survey trip was taken to the Republic of Ireland. In 1996 the OMS Board of Trustees officially approved to begin work in Ireland, under the acting leadership of the OMS-UK Executive Director.

Beginning in 1997, OMS’ work in Ireland was still in the pioneering stage. Then, in 1998, OMS approved an initial Every Community for Christ (ECC) team.

At present, work is limited to evangelism and partnerships other organization to plant Irish churches. The field is under ongoing development seeking prayer partners in order to launch further ministry.
