CAM School Activities
The CAM Library is now online!
Physical Education
Physical education is an important aspect of a child's growth. Throughout the year, all students participate in P.E. classes which include basketball, volleyball, soccer and other challenging activities. During the second semester, swimming classes are substituted while the weather is warm enough.
Educational Field Trips
In March or April, the school plans a field trip for the elementary and high school students. Places such as Kruger Park and Graskop Environmental Park for the 7th - 12th grades have been fun and challenging. The elementary students have visited Kruger Park, Sudwala Caves, Swaziland and the Reptile Park in South Africa. In 2009 the students were both physically and spiritually challenged at Eagle Adventures in South Africa. In 2010 the 7-12 grades went to a Mozambican Survival Camp run by missionary friends. It was a fun and challenging for the students to live in tents, share the catching and cooking of food, and work together as teams.
Extra-curricular Activities
Wednesday afternoons after school the 7-12th grades have a fun and fellowship time at CAM. One of the CAM families oversees this valuable ministry.
Sunday afternoons from 3:30-5:00pm students can attend the youth program with the SNF (Sunday Night Fellowship) held at our OMS Seminary. After school sports such as basketball and soccer have been rewarding and challenging when enough students are able to participate.
CAM Dessert Potlucks
Each quarter, we have a dessert “bring-and-share.” Before the food, the students share songs, poetry or plays that they have learned. Several times during the year there are school dramas and music programs as well as an International Night which is enjoyed by all.
